You have reached the fairly uninformative personal website of Lillian Karabaic.

AnomaLily currently lives in Berlin, Germany but calls Portland, Oregon home. She fills her life with economics homework and rides her bicycle often. She drinks a great deal of tea and dark beer and enjoys geeking out about transportation policy.

Through the generous support of the Ducey Fellowship, she works to improve conditions for walking in the Portland region as a part of the Willamette Pedestrian Coalition.

She rides her bicycle very far every day, even in the dark.

You might know her as the short girl that spoke at the class you took to get out of a traffic ticket or taught at your workplace about bike commuting when she used to work for the Bicycle Transportation Alliance. She also serves breakfast to bike commuters on the Steele bridge every last Friday of the month from 7AM to 9AM as part of Breakfast on the Bridges.

Or, perhaps you know her as ride leader and board member with Cycle Wild, a small non-profit which seeks to reconnect people with nature via the bicycle by leading free bike camping trips around the Portland rideshed.

She never grew out of the “tea party in princess dresses” phase and still wears and makes elaborate costumes. She might like Jane Austen and Downton Abbey a little too much.

Maybe you’ve met her through her work with the Independent Publishing Resource Center teaching zines and comics to homeless youth and staffing the center during open hours.

She also really likes train stations.
