I think it’s really hard to get a genuine ‘gut’ evaluation from inside the system one’s trying to evaluate! I tend to double/triple think it and apply normalizations, adjustments, etc.
You might want to try what I settled on, which is actually less granular but I think gets a more accurate bead on overall wellness. Just ask “so, is stuff ok today?” and bake it all the way down to a binary “yeah, not bad today” or “meh, today sucked” measurement. Then at the end you can average all the 1’s and 0’s to get an overall measurement.
