One of my missions in life is to demystify the complicated world of transportation finance using unusual mediums. To that end, I’ve been working on two very cool projects that are set to be revealed this year:
- A transportation youtube series that explains transportation economics over drinks. Numerous high-profile transportation & elected officials guests are lined up and we now have a studio setup. It’s a bit like a transport-focused Bills & Brews mixed with Crashcourse, only lower budget.
- A 70-page professionally-illustrated, exhaustively-researched comic book about the Federal Highway Trust Fund and federal transportation funding packages.
Both projects are fun, smart, informative, and incredibly time-consuming. And very overdue.
After running the numbers for each of these projects, it’s obvious that there are not enough hours in the day or enough money in my pocket to do both this year. Both are meant for a broad audience, so I figure I’d let the public decide. I plan to do both projects at some point, this is just about which premieres this year.
So pick which one you’d get more excited about. Thanks <3
