I’ve hit that “nearly there” slump for end-of-year fundraising when I should be in a frenzy mode. It feels so close, with so many funders and co-workers taking off for the holidays, but I have, as they say “miles to go before I sleep.” MOAR COFFEE.
Incidentally, I managed to do something I haven’t done in a long time: hobble myself from physical exertion. I have now discovered that 30 minutes of running up and down the stairs in my apartment building is MUCH more muscle strain than simply running for 30 minutes. Now I’m limping around like an awkward robot, whimpering everytime I lift my heels.
@anomalily running stairs always makes me feel terrible, but walking up 60 floors a day is great for karaoke stamina.
@twjpdx23 Ohhhh. I’m definitely going to try the running stairs again, but maybe not for 30 minutes this time. Still sore 3 days later.
